OCI ANNOUNCEMENT

      
All OCI applications received up to 31 May 2009 have been processed in the Consulate and the OCI cards & `U’ visa stickers are available for collection/mailing.  All OCI applicants may either make it convenient to collect it from the Consulate on any working day between 9:30 – 11:00 hours or mail their U.S passports, in original, to the Consulate along with return mailing charges. 

The documents required for the purpose would be: (i) US passport in original, (ii) a print out of the on-line status (it can be obtained by hooking on to http://ociindia.nic.in/ociindia/OnlineOCIenquiry), & (iii) return mailing charges of $20/- by way of Postal Money Order, (for up to 4 passports and $40/- if more) if documents are to be received by mail.  The OCI applicants who have valid Indian passports may kindly ensure that they also send their Indian passports so that these can be cancelled by the Consulate.
