GANDHI JAYANTI CELEBRATION – OCTOBER 2, 2012

               As in the past, Gandhi Jayanti will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 10.00 A.M. at Union Square Park , (West side) on 14th Street, Manhattan (near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi).  

           The programme will include offering of floral tributes to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and singing of Gandhiji’s  favourite bhajans (hymns). All are cordially invited on this solemn occasion to mark the 143rd birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation.
